they couldn't be bothered enough to shoot on location. Seeing a gunslinger Ghost Rider amongst the backdrop of Monument Valley was awesome, although of course it was a CGI use of Monument Valley. He tells Johnny the mythical tales of past Ghost Rider's that lived in the old days of the American West, where the rider would ride on a flaming horse. which one day the devil will come and collect. He knows the past life of Johnny Blaze (Cage) where he signed a contract to sell his soul to the devil Mephistopheles if he would cure the lung cancer from his Stunt Man father. Sam Elliott narrates the film as the Obi-Wan type character known as The Caretaker. Which means that because Fonda and Elliott's screen time is so little, the film is around 12% good and 88% bad, because everything that doesn't involve those two fine actors, is a load of crap. Then there's the film director Mark Steven Johnson and the inept acting talents of Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes were destroying. There's the film that Sam Elliott and Peter Fonda were trying to make. It is not something that will make much sense, to comic book readers or otherwise. There are two different parts to Ghost Rider. The same goes for the jump scares, the rain of hellfire from the sky and the sudden shoehorning of references to the Hell’s Angels. Biker gangs and jean shorts are frequent and completely nondescript in their need to be shown. It certainly has issues around setting and scenario. As hellfire rains from the sky and a man walks toward the camera to give audiences a jump scare, Ghost Rider could be said to have some slight pacing issues. One of the leading issues with Ghost Rider is that the uselessly camp origins of a character named Johnny Blaze (because the man spends much of his time ablaze) is adapted with a sincere desire to turn him serious. He is just a bit dull, and so is Johnson’s feature. The Cage Rage is swept away, securely kept out of sight even in the most demanding of scenes. Cage has little to offer, not even that overwhelming and ambitious niche of his fascinatingly maddened persona. His pact with the devil makes him dangerously dumb, and it is not until his skull sets ablaze randomly that Ghost Rider really takes off. Blaze holds jelly beans in a martini glass and watches a monkey fight a man on television. Johnson and the script have confused what it means to be cool. Was Ghost Rider the catalyst of Cage’s downfall? “Hey, is the bike okay?” he says in a rough redneck-styling after almost dying. Still, Cage’s introduction with Ozzy Osbourne’s track, Crazy Train, is a magnificently dense way to introduce the hardman rocker. Amazing how the great Peter Fonda can stumble around the scene, not quite focusing on anything in particular while he turns dreary dialogue into an admonished example of bad writing. The literal devil incarnate is the offering for Ghost Rider. Mark Steven Johnson directs this with the usual glum satisfaction of a star-studded cast, a frightening disposition for cringeworthy one-liners and an acceptable introduction to villainy and temptation. Horribly dumb and foolishly adapted, but heart-warming in a strange way. Hard it may be to hold much love for any form of integrity Ghost Rider hopes to show, it is at least eventful. Once the backstory is established and the emotional integrity of the piece needs a bit of fire to get it going. Brett Cullen and Matt Long may open with the father and son intensity, that dynamic never gets old for the comic book lows, but Nicolas Cage takes the reigns from there. A natural change in pace, one that will surely shine bright. In the modern era, horses are replaced by motorbikes and cowboys are replaced by stuntmen. A literal “ghost rider,” presumably some quiet rider of the night, is sent off to sign contracts with the devil and think nothing of it. While Sam Elliott may say the west was built on legend, the reality of this is the acceptance of generations of damned souls riding horses and wearing cowboy hats. I'm hoping to have a reliable/stable connection for both my PS5 AND MacBook instead of having to choose one over the other. In my MacBook network settings the status says 'Connected' but I get the following message: "USB 10/100/1000 LAN has a self-assigned IP address and will not be able to connect to the internet." And my PS5 will recognize that there is a LAN connection there but when I try to set it up, it is unable to find the IP address in time. Telus Modem (T3200M) - Coax in wall on 1st floor - Coax out of wall on 2nd floor - MoCa Adapter (ECB6200) - Ethernet cable - Netgear 5-port switch (GS305) - separate ethernet cable into PS5 & another ethernet cable to USB-C adapter into MacBook. I figured that I could use an ethernet switch to hardwire my MacBook as well, since the MoCa adapter only has one ethernet port. The MoCA takes an ethernet signal off the router, transforms it into the coax. My Telus Optik TV boxes are connected via MoCa adapters and I had repurposed one on my 2nd floor (my modem is on the 1st floor) to hardwire my PS5 – no problems there super reliable connection. Solution USAFRet Modem->Router->moca device->house coax->moca device->PC. I have almost no experience with Network configurations/troubleshooting, so any help would be much appreciated. Still no network connection.I wanted to upgrade my work-from-home office and gaming setup and by hardwiring both my MacBook and PS5 instead of using WiFi. Unfortunately still no network connection on my XBox.įinally I tested removing the set top box from the equation entirely in case the splitter was the problem. I plugged in the MoCA adapters, enabled MoCA in my Gateways admin tool, and everything worked great. The house has a MoCA filter installed in the crawlspace, where the coax lines come in from the street. Each room in our house has a coax line, but not ethernet jacks. Connect the Gateway Modem to the MoCA adapter. So I used a splitter, sent one end directly to the set top box (it worked fine) and the other to the MoCa adapter. After researching options, I bought a pair of Actiontec EBC6250 MoCA Adapters. 1x 2-Way Digital Splitter MoCA 2.0 (1675 MHz Performance) First steps I did were the following to make this work, as instructed by the manual Connect the MoCA adapter directly from the wall using a coax cable, into the MOCA port. So I figured maybe that MoCa adapter was the issue so I tried another but this one only had ethernet out. I removed the adapter and tested the direct line to the set top box again and the data features returned. The coax adapter is then connected by an Ethernet cable to the respective connected devices. Doing this my set top box stopped being able to access data features like on demand and I had no network connection to my other devices like my XBox. First I used a MoCa 2.5 adapter that had both a coax and ethernet out so I could connect my set top box as well as my switch. Well I haven't been able to get it to work. My house is wired for coax and everything I've looked up gave me the understanding that with just a MoCa adapter I could connect my entertainment center to the gigabit network. However I want to have a wired connection to my entertainment center on the first floor. Not available or not applicable Negative ACK (packet was not received as. I do have both TV and internet service and all my data features on the set top box work (on demand, guide, messages) and my own router is working fine. The Cat5 from the ONT comes into my house on the second floor where my office is and connects to the router there as well as a coax line from the wall. If you encounter any issues, please read this section for recommendations on some common problems. And then you can gradually build the intensity. You’ll also get plenty of opportunities to ramp up the dynamics in the choruses. Slipping fingers and quivering hands won’t do you any good here. You will need to learn these chords very well however, since they last for about a bar each. It features just 4 chords under your fingers. How He Loves is a very powerful song about the Lord. You can have a lot of fun with this composition. If you’re a little more well versed in the art of strumming and chords, you could come up with your own riffs. It may seem intimidating at first, but you can play most of the song pretty easily: Lincoln Brewster has put some great energy into it. If you’re looking to translate some great guitar riffs on your ukulele, this is the song. The original is also a great composition which cruises along at a leisurely tempo. This variation and the simplicity of the song can give you a lot of practice. Which goes down, down, up, up, and down, up. This song can sound very nice with island strum. You can try out different variations and rhythmic pattens if you want. That means if you perfect 2 chords, you’re basically through the entire song. There are just two chords throughout the song, with a few additions. This is the perfect song if you’re a beginner. Once you get the hang of it, you’ll find it very easy. Hence, getting through the chords will require a steady hand. The trick here is that it’s a little faster than other worship songs. This one should be a familiar one to you if you’re a regular churchgoer. The verse of this song is basically just 3 chords, so you master them and you’re through the difficult part. Here’s a video teaching this song with the same chords but more simplified: However, for that, you’ll need to be really comfortable with the chords. The song will sound incredible if you ramp up the intensity in the right place. The main thing that you need to master is the dynamics. That being said, mastering this song will help you play a lot of the others, since it’s a little faster than most worship songs. It requires you to master 6 chords, and switching between them can be hard for beginners. Hosanna by Hillsong is a little chordier if you catch my drift. Next: 33 Easy Ukulele Songs for Beginners 2.
